Visit our open house to talk to experts about rural stewardship planning and critical areas regulations.

January 17 and 18, 2006 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Preston Community Center, 8625 310th Ave SE, Preston.

At no cost to property owners, King County staff will be available to answer your questions about the effects of new regulations. No appointment is necessary and property owners will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rural Stewardship Plans offer rural landowners:

·        Help developing site-specific standards to protect the resources on their property in exchange for long-term stewardship actions;

·        Technical assistance to determine how best to meet their goals while protecting the environment; and

·        Resources for sustainable property management.
